ISKCON Nellore has a plan to start a goshala in the near future. Already a Cow and its Calf are presently taken care of in the Temple and are serving the Lordships Sri Sri Radha Shyamsundar. We would like to start a Goshala which, apart from taking care of cows and calves, should also create awareness among people regarding the importance of Cow Protection. |

vaisya-karma svabhava-jam"
"The duty of the mercantile community is agriculture and cow protection."
According to Vedas the Cow has a special position within the human society; She has the status of our mother. No society can boast of civilization without proper protection of cows. |

Presently Rohini devi dasi and Revati devi dasi are in Nellore ISKCON, serving their Lordships. Devotees are enthusiastic to take care of more cows and preach regarding the importance of cow protection. So Donors interested to donate cows or to donate for the maintenance of these cows are most welcomed. |

Awareness Program on Cow Protection |
| ISKCON Nellore conducted a Cow Protection Camp on Sunday 24th June to increase the awareness on Cow Protection. In the camp, Senior devotees, HG Ram Murari Das, HG Uma Shankar Das participated. H.H Sukadeva swami Maharaj also spoke on cow protection. A slide show on the importance of Cow protection and the use of products made from cow dung and urine was also displayed. Dattreya Prabhuji sponsored the camp financially. A stall of products made from Cow dung and urine was also arranged to practically show the importance of cow protection.
